Bit of a Favourite.

As with our children... we are with our equine friends in this family... So when the day arrived for Grandee to leave for her new home we found ourselves being quite retrospective about her departure @ 12 yrs of age she has been with us since foaling & they grow on you I Tell You!!! But we know that her new home is the equivalent of Horse Heaven & that Grandee will be treated like royalty for the rest of her days spent in lush paddocks full of other broodmares for company. So the plus/positive here is that she will be well looked after in her new home & we are so grateful & appreciative of this being so - as all in all we are a Bit of a Favourite...

It's always hard to say bye bye to an old friend.

I don't know what is more beautiful, the sunset or Grandee. I'm glad that she will be so comfortable, but it will be sad to be missing her.

Hi Helz,I love horses they are such beautiful animals, never had the blessing of owning one though. It must be hard to say goodbye but made easier knowing they are going somewhere nice.Your sunset photos are lovely too.

I would be no good at your game - I wouldn't be able to let Grandee go - lucky I only have two little puppies.
Hope Grandee is happy - that's the main thing.
'Bye - Lurline.

We do become attatched don't we? I am sure she wouldn't be going anywhere if you didn't think she would be loved but still hard to say goodbye, they are just like our kids!!
